A slow week

After doing so well last week i suppose i had to expect to not do as well this week again, but i didn't think it would be this bad.

I do have a slight issue with my scales, they're right there in the bathroom and I feel the urge to step on them every morning.  It's not good, it's not clever and it really just sets me up to feel bad if it's not doing what I want it to do. 

I'm slap bang in the middle of what we ladies like to call my monthly visit and I have to tell you, it is such a pain in the....stomach. I never knew this before I started to lose weight, but that bloating that some women always mentioned they felt around the time of their period (I never felt that, I was just a big bloat all the time - 303lbs remember) is actually real!! AND get this, it can add up to 3 - 5 lbs onto your weight for the duration of your period! Isn't being a girl just brilliant???

I've been trying to combat this bloat by sticking to a nice 1300 calories and constantly sipping on water throughout the day to reduce water retention (I know right? To stop water retention, drink more water! Insane), but I still feel really stiff and sore and bloated and yuk.

I have a target to hit on monday and if I haven't made it down to 16 stone 9 I will be very annoyed!
